Hey guys! My name's Drew and this is my website. It's designed to express my passion for the noble art form of Dance. Dance has been a huge part of my life since beginning in 2012 at the age of 13. I took my first class at The Dance Collective (TDC). I didn't realise then, but TDC would become my second home some day, full of amazing people that I am proud to call family. I am, and have always been a Hip-Hop dancer by trade, but I have had experience in multiple different disciplines including; Breaking, Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet and even Tap. My knowledge of all these area's may be VERY limited but I can say that I have experienced all of these different styles in my very few years of dancing.
I like to believe that the dance community creates a special family for every single individual. We all accept, respect and appreciate every single other person that takes part in our little family. I also like to think that even though we are all performing, rehearsing an enjoying the same activity we are all different. This is why I say Individuality through difference, because even if you do the same style, or the same routine as someone else, no one can do it like you, no one can be like you. This why I love to dance so much, because no matter where you go you fit in and you stand out.
There are some serious honourable mentions I need to make as without these people none of this would have been possible. Emma Hearne-Mills is the closest thing to a sister I could ever ask for and I owe all of this to her. Erin for helping me film some of my videos. Allsaints' College for helping bring out the passion and drive in me. Finally, The Dance Collective, my second family. These people are all the reasons why I want to continue this for as long as my body is able, so thank you all so much.
